6th North Watford Scout Group

Girls and boys are welcome to come along to the 6th North Watford Scout Group. Come and enjoy training based on the Scout Promise and Law.

The Scout Association's purpose is to help young people achieve their full potential as individuals, responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. They believe that scouting works well when young people enjoy 'learning by doing' in partnership with adults.

Young people can do this by:

  • taking part in a variety of activities and new experiences
  • exploring the outdoors
  • participating in teams
  • taking responsibility

Special activities take place during weekends and holiday periods, all containing the elements of fun and character training and providing a challenge to the young people.

Scouting is open to those of all faiths and offers equal opportunities to all young people in the community, regardless of their gender, social, religious or ethnic background.

Due to popularity, a waiting scheme may operate; please enquire for more details.
