Join us and have your say, have fun and get involved!

Berkhamsted Town Council and Dacorum Borough Council run this group to encourage young people to have their say in issues that affect them in their society and local communities.

Are you worried about the things that affect you in your community?

Would you like to have your say about future plans for your community?

Would you like to be actively involved in the creation of new facilities for young people in your area?

If the answer is yes to all or some of the above, then why not join your local youth town council?

The Berkhamsted Youth Town Council is based at the Swan Youth Centre but hold their monthly meetings at the Berkhamsted Council Chambers on the second Wednesday of the month 4.30-6pm. It is a voice for all young people in the town and the surrounding rural villages. Members attend local schools and have been elected by their peers. They make sure young people's voices are heard in many aspects of their community life. They carry out fund raising events to fund activities for other young people.
