If you are a young person leaving care, the Care Leaver Hub at the YC Hertfordshire Stevenage Access Point is for you. You will get support to help you become more independent in all areas of your life. If you are aged 16-21 and are in care or will be leaving care soon, get in touch and find out how we can help you.

At the Stevenage Care Leaver Hub you will get support from a Youth Support Worker who will help you with three areas of your life:

  • employability
  • emotional well-being
  • physical health

You will have the chance to join a one-year programme that will give you more confidence to make decisions and life choices that are right for you and help you decide what to do next.

You will also learn:

  • job interview skills
  • how to write a CV
  • how to apply for jobs

You can also:

  • join a health and fitness programme
  • learn about healthy eating and cooking

The Care Leaver Hub is at the YC Hertfordshire Stevenage Access Point.
