Chaulden Adventure Playground is free and has loads of different activities and sports that you can take part in. It makes an ideal place for meeting up with friends - as well as the place to make some new friends too!Chaulden Adventure Playground is a FREE open access facility for children of all abilities from 6 to 12 years of age (under 6s welcome with an adult).
Set in the Chaulden and Warners End area of Hemel Hempstead, the Chaulden Adventure Playground has been serving the community for over 30 years.
The activities held at the playground are as follows:
> Table tennis
> Air hockey
> Snooker and pool
> Football table
> Computer games
> Arts and crafts room
> Board games
> Scramble nets
> Aerial runway
> Many wooden climbing frames, including a pirate ship (pictured) and train
> Slides and swings
> Football pitch
> Basketball/netball hoops
> Team games and many more.
Healthy snacks and refreshments can be bought at the adventure playground tuck shops or your children are welcome to bring their own food and drink.
Monday to Friday 3.30–6.30pm
Sunday - closed
Monday to Friday 9.30am–5.30pm.
The playground is closed on all bank holidays.
There is no charge for using or attending playground during standard playground hours.
On your first visit parents/carers are required to complete a registration form for the age group stated and must complete the details in full.
The Chaulden Adventure Playground is registered and inspected by Ofsted. It is managed and supervised by a team of qualified staff who provide a secure and stimulating environment for all children, including those with special needs and disabilities.

Timing and Repeats:
Term time: Monday to Friday 3.30–6.30pm. Saturday 11am–5pm. Sunday - Closed. School holidays: Monday to Friday 9.30am–5.30pm. The playground is closed on all bank holidays.
