Herts Inclusive Theatre is an award-winning charity working with disabled and non-disabled children, young people and adults. We offer weekly after-school workshops, holiday and weekend activities, day groups for adults and bespoke work for schools and local authorities. Our aim is to use drama, movement, music and theatre techniques to help build people's confidence, communication skills and to encourage and build social inclusion.
Herts Inclusive Theatre (HIT) provides a safe, friendly and welcoming environment where children and young people are able to express themselves without feeling any prejudice or judgement. We welcome children with any ability and have those with learning and physical impairments taking part on an equal level to those without, something they may not get the opportunity to do elsewhere. We encourage children from all backgrounds and schools to mix and make friends.
Volunteers (18+) are also welcome, experience not required (enhanced CRB checks will be obtained).
