Sport / Outdoor AdventureEntertain MeHealthVolunteerLearning & CareersAdvice & Information

The Phoenix Group for Deaf Children provides opportunities and activities for deaf and hearing-impaired young people aged 11-25 years. We have a youth group just for the deaf/hearing-impaired and we also integrate into other activities with hearing peers. Every month we have activities taking place across Hertfordshire and we also organise school holiday programmes.

The Phoenix Group for Deaf Children offers a range of activities including:

  • sport
  • drama
  • music
  • subtitled cinema
  • theatre
  • art
  • cooking
  • film-making
  • trips out

You can learn new skills, join our youth committee and help run the project or ask us for information and advice on issues that may affect you. No booking is needed for the monthly youth group but booking will be required for most other activities.

See 'Useful links' below for details of current activities and events.

A BSL interpreter or Communication Support Worker is present at all sessions. We can occasionally help with transport.
