The YC Hertfordshire Breakout Project for Young Adults with Learning Disabilities is for 18-24-year-olds with mild to moderate learning disabilities in the Welwyn Hatfield area. It's a place where you can make friends, learn new skills, relax and have fun.

The YC Hertfordshire Breakout Project for Young Adults with Learning Disabilities takes place at Breaks Manor Youth Centre in Hatfield every Thursday from 6.30 to 8.30pm.

It is a safe space where you can meet people and make friends. You'll also learn new skills to help you become happier and more independent.

You'll learn about maintaining positive mental health and gain independent living skills through fun activities such as:

  • sports
  • drama projects
  • discussions and debates
  • games
  • cooking
  • music
  • arts and crafts

The activities are designed around your needs and run by YC Hertfordshire youth workers who are experienced in working with young people with a variety of needs.

YC Hertfordshire Breakout Project for Young Adults is located at Breaks Manor Youth Centre which is adjacent to the Hatfield Young People's Centre, situated in the centre of Hatfield within 10 minutes walk of Hatfield train station; it serves young people in both Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield.

Breaks Manor Youth Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
