Come to this exciting youth project based at Harebreaks Community Hub, run by YC Hertfordshire in partnership with Watford Community Housing Trust. The Friday Youth Project is a great place to meet friends on a Friday evening.

At the YC Hertfordshire youth project at Harebreaks you have the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of activities such as arts & crafts, cookery, indoor and outdoor sports – with support from a great team of youth support workers.

Each week follows a theme (for example healthy eating, drug & alcohol education) – with the opportunity for you to achieve accreditation. There is also a chance for you to look at your own personal development and work with youth workers on topics such as:

  • Making a difference
  • Hopes and dreams
  • Well being/Self esteem
  • Education/Work/Training
  • Communicating
  • Choices and behaviour

Above all, the project is an opportunity for you to spend time in a positive environment and develop skills with your friends.

To find out more, contact Helen at YC Hertfordshire on 01442 454060, or simply drop in to Harebreaks Community Hub on Friday evenings from 6pm to 8pm!

The project is completely free – and open to all 13-17 year olds.
