The YC Hertfordshire Young Carers Project at the Bowes Lyon Young People’s Centre in Stevenage is for young people aged 13-17 from the North Herts and Stevenage areas who have caring responsibilities. Come and meet other young carers, relax, laugh and have a bit of well-deserved 'me-time'!

You can also participate in workshops which develop your skills, experience and confidence, and find out about opportunities for your future. Come along and get involved!
Come along to YC Hertfordshire's Thursday evening Project at Breaks Manor Youth Centre in Hatfield and get involved with some great activities. Spend time with your friends and also meet new people. There are loads of different activities for you to choose from, including music, football, cooking, art and drama.

It has a devastating impact on young people and their families and should be a concern for everyone. It is largely a hidden crime, and raising awareness of this type of abuse is essential to preventing it and stopping it early when it does happen. Remember that there is always help available.
