The YC Hertfordshire Friday Night Project at Breaks Manor is a safe space for you to meet new people, develop positive relationships and try out new activities. You can also participate in workshops which develop your skills, experience and confidence, and find out about opportunities for your future. Come along and get involved!
Are you aged 13-17? Do you and your friends spend time in the Borehamwood area? Look out for the YC Hertfordshire youth workers on Friday evenings from 4pm to 6pm. You can chat to the youth workers, get advice and support, and find out what’s happening in your area for young people. You'll also have the opportunity to have your say on local matters that affect you as well as organise activities that you and your friends will enjoy.
If you are aged between 13 and 25 and have missed out on standard school or college education this project is for you! It's an opportunity for you to learn practical work skills, train for recognised qualifications as well as develop new interests.
The YC Hertfordshire Bishop's Stortford Young People's Forum is for young people aged 11-17 in the East Herts area who want to make a difference in their community. You will get the chance to express your ideas, opinions and needs to decision makers, including council staff and community organisations. This is your chance to get your voice heard so please come along and get involved!
The Galaxy Youth Project runs every Thursday night at the Rickmansworth Young People's Centre. It's for young people aged 13–17 who have a mild learning disability, need a boost in self-confidence or would benefit from being in a small supportive environment. YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.
