Watford Fire Cadets is a group for 12-18 year olds, giving you the opportunity to engage in training exercises similar to those of the operational firefighter crews but on a smaller scale, i.e. ladders, hoses, breathing apparatus, community fire safety work, theory and technical input.

If you’re aged between 10 and 17 years old, you can join a St John Ambulance cadet unit. At cadets it's all about fun, adventure and community. As a cadet you will learn first aid and how to save a life. Once qualified, cadets can put their first aid and communication skills into practice by providing first aid to the public at events and teaching first aid to other young people and adults. If you become a St John's Ambulance Cadet you will learn vital skills to be the difference between life and death in an emergency.
