This is an opportunity for children and young people with learning disabilities to get involved in weekend activities - especially for those who want their weekends to be fun and exciting! If you know of anyone with a learning disability, please let them know about this. This is also an opportunity for young people who wish to get involved in volunteering to help children and young people with learning disabilities.
Hertfordshire Young Carers organises support and activities for carers aged 13-18 and their families. The service is provided across the whole county and there are groups and activities in a variety of areas - please get in touch for more information about what’s on near you.
The Phoenix Group for Deaf Children provides opportunities and activities for deaf and hearing-impaired young people aged 11-25 years. We have a youth group just for the deaf/hearing-impaired and we also integrate into other activities with hearing peers. Every month we have activities taking place across Hertfordshire and we also organise school holiday programmes.
