The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is a real adventure from beginning to end. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from, you just need to be aged between 14 and 19 (up to 25 for young people with additional needs) and ready to jump into the best time of your life.
Are you aged 11-17? Do you and your friends spend time near Aberford Park in Borehamwood? Look out for the YC Hertfordshire Hertsmere Team youth workers on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8pm. You can chat to them, get advice and support, and find out what’s happening in your area for young people. You'll also have the opportunity to have your say on local matters that affect you as well as organise activities you and your friends will enjoy.
